London Ambassador Experience
I was endeavoured to write a detailed diary about my everyday encounters during my London Ambassador shifts. However, you know how difficult it is, for someone who is not a good observer to tell anything interesting. In the end, it was just a trivial note for what have happened during my first volunteering experience.

After reading, emotional shithole
Haven't been reading and finishing an English novel for leisure properly for almost...years, I think. And tonight, I finally finished Lawrence Block's 'Even the wicked' in its original language. I got this book from a charity shop way back when I still lived in 18 Ballantyne Drive in Colchester, but hardly touched it for the time being. However, you always did something you normally would not do when there is other more important thing waiting to be done. No doubt, this time is the same old story. In other words, the book is a distraction form my study and in turns, I now in the same old shit mood of a mixture of guilt and depression again, due to the bloody annoying repetition of history.

'Birthday' @ Royal Court Theatre
其實想不起來究竟是什麼時候喜歡上Stephen Mangan，但之後看了他的搞笑偵探劇'Dirk Gently'和本來不愛、後來卻相當喜歡的'Episodes'，就很愛這個被報紙形容具有'puppyish vulnerability'（真是無比貼切啊！他真的是有一張顯示'我是無辜的'臉）、頭髮捲得十分可愛的英國演員。自然也就不會錯過他的舞台劇演出囉！

2012 What's on Stage?
我只能說：下半年度的舞台劇season真的是讓我熱血沸騰啊！！！當初看到Philip Glenister將出演在National Theatre的'This House'時，我就已經覺得下半季挺值得期待了。但是當我看到Lawrence Fox將於九月出現在舞台上時，我一瞬間都要起雞皮疙瘩了！天啊！是我的新歡DS James Hathaway耶（暈）～老天是聽到我內心的吶喊嗎？！除了他之外，Duchess Theatre的'Our Boys裡還附送在'Doctor Who'裡演出Rory的Arthur Darvill哩！這一齣光是看到陣容，就讓我迫不及待地想直接跳到十月份吶…

Summer Report
It is almost the end of my second year study of PhD, and finally, I was upgraded as a PhD candidate. Well, I am not particularly 'happy' as such, but I cannot deny that I am more or less relieved, although I still cannot see how I can write a 70000 word thesis.

'Antigone' @ Olivier Theatre, NT
繼第十任Doctor David Tennant之後，我終於有幸親見第九任Doctor Christopher Eccleston的舞台劇演出希臘悲劇'Antigone’ @ Olivier National Theatre。把握我往常的早早訂票原則的我，自然是不會放過能做最前排的機會（畢竟看舞台劇也是想要看HD的啊～） 根據我平常的舞台劇companion的說法，由Sophocles撰寫的這齣劇是相當有名的希臘悲劇；但我一如往常地無知，只知道我是為了cast而去的:P Antigone是弒父娶母的Oedipus的女兒，隨著父親去逝、她的兩個哥哥（不出預料地）為了爭奪王位而讓整個國家陷入內戰，最後同歸於盡。王位因此落到叔父Creon的手上。
